Meet the Collective
Aniah Francis is a 20-year-old junior at the University of San Francisco. She is originally from Trinidad and Tobago but moved to America to further her education. Outside of classes, she is interning and working at six organizations that seek to dismantle oppressive structures and creating safe spaces for Black girls and youth of color.
Raven Preston is one-third of the Planet Venus Podcast triad and Director of Technical Communication for Planet Venus. As a Planet Venus cohost, she contributes perspective from a millennial’s experience. She is also a writer for the Planet Venus website as a Blogger. Currently, an MA student studying rhetoric and technical communication, she utilizes Black feminist thought to inform her pedagogy and scholarship.
Luisa Gomez is Planet Venus's behind the scene magic maker. She is an Afro-Latinx, daughter, mother, and Black Feminist. Her soul labor is serving as Planet Venus's Progect Manager.
